Production: The Long Road
In the aftermath of a fatal stabbing of a young boy, his family struggles to find meaning and forgiveness. The tale follows the family as they find ways of dealing with their grief as well as exploring what forgiveness actually is.
Originally produced by Synergy Theatre Project at the Soho Theatre London, we were deeply moved by this up-to-the-minute tale which explores the after effects of knife crime. The reviews agree:
'It is a rare play that hits the news with such cruel topicality... Stephenson offers a powerful, illuminating piece of dramatic fiction.' Nicholas de Jongh, Evening Standard
'Rare and remarkable... this is a drama that cries out for attention - and richly rewards it’ The Telegraph
